About me

The beginning

Hailing from Hackney, London, my fascination with the Internet and technology ignited at the age of 14 when I acquired my first computer. By 16, I had already delved into the world of design, creating everything from album covers for emerging MySpace artists to forum signatures. At 18, I embarked on a journey to the University of York to pursue a BSc in Accounting, Business Finance & Management, hoping to broaden my skill set. However, after three years of study, it became evident that Accounting and Finance didn't align with my true passions.

Following graduation, I embarked on internships at several prominent London startups, immersing myself in the contagious entrepreneurial spirit. This experience ignited my own entrepreneurial ambitions, leading me to enroll at University College London for an MSc in Technology Entrepreneurship, where I graduated second in my class. This program instilled in me the art of building impactful and innovative businesses centered around customer empathy and lean methodologies.

Simultaneously, I was employed at Skimlinks, where my journey began as a Customer Service executive and culminated in my promotion to the role of Product Manager.

The present

In 2016 I decided to go full circle and become a designer again. I was a Product Designer at Drover from 2015 through to 2018. I previously worked at Ogilvy as an Experience Designer and Senior Product Designer at Meta. I’m currently a Senior Product Designer at Square.
